As commercial consultants for GB Basketball, Out The Park Group Limited (OTP) reviewed and restructured the NGBs commercial offering to return the best value and drive direct investment into the sport. We negotiated, contracted and managed Subway's partnership with GB Basketball for the initial contract period and subsequently negotiated a successful partnership renewal to extend the relationship.
Alongside the Subway partnership, OTP successfully brokered a deal with Nike and KitKing aligned to the new commercial strategy, seeing GB teams play in Nike kit and a retail offering available to fans for the first time.
OTP worked with GB Basketball on it's overall commercial strategy including bringing in DV3 to lead a digital transformation project, allowing the NGB to significantly grow it's audience, demonstrating ROI to partners and driving commercial value. We linked the digital growth strategy, development of the GB Basketball brand and partnership activation directly to an enhanced fan experience further driving engagement both on game days and away from the court, again ensuring ROI for partners and further audience growth.
